Jagran correspondent, Ganaur. A case of kidnapping and murder of a 21 year old youth has come to light in village Sandal Kala. The youth was missing from home under suspicious circumstances since December 10. After the murder, the kidnappers threw his body in the Munak canal. The dead body was found in Munak Canal in Haiderpur, Delhi on Friday afternoon. The family members who reached the spot identified the dead body.
After completing the necessary formalities, Delhi Police sent the body to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini, Delhi for post-mortem. According to the information, Aditya, a resident of Sandal Kala, had left home on foot on December 10 at 2 pm. When he did not return home late at night, his family members searched for him, but no trace of him was found.
The family went to Bari police station in the night itself, but the police asked them to bring the photo the next day. On December 11, on the complaint of Aditya's father Sompal, Bari police station registered a case against unknown people for illegally detaining Aditya and started searching for him. On the morning of 11 December, the family found a post and a video from Aditya's mobile phone.
In the message, it was claimed that Aditya had been kidnapped and a ransom of Rs 25 lakh was demanded. It was said in the post that if the money was not given then Aditya could die. In the video, Aditya's hands were tied and injury marks were visible on his body.
Villagers blocked road after receiving threat
After the video and threatening post, the family members and villagers got enraged and blocked Purkhas Road in Sandal Kalan. The villagers raised questions on the initial action of the police and demanded immediate action. He said that if the matter had been taken seriously from the beginning, the situation could have been different. On receiving the information, ACP Rishipal and Bari police station incharge Mahesh Kumar reached the spot with the police force, talked to the family members and assured them of a speedy investigation. After this the jam was lifted.
ACP Ganaur Rishikant said that Bari police station has registered a missing report and started investigating the matter. Aditya's body has now been found in Munak canal in Haiderpur, Delhi. Abuse has been used in the post received by the family, which is being investigated. The video is also very short, and the face is not clearly visible.
He said that the police team has now registered a case of kidnapping and murder against unknown people on the basis of the father's complaint. Four police teams are working on this case. The accused will be identified and arrested soon.
Police is also investigating from honey trap angle
In the message received by the family, the kidnappers have also mentioned a girl. Based on this, the police is now investigating whether Aditya was kidnapped on the pretext of being a girl.
Deceased Aditya was the youngest among two brothers and a sister. He used to work in FCI warehouse located at Kalupur Chungi, Sonipat. Whereas his father Sompal has a grocery shop. Aditya had gone to work on January 10 and returned home at 2 pm. After coming home, Aditya left his bike and bag at home and left the house without informing anyone.
Now after receiving the news of his death, a wave of mourning ran in the entire village. The family members are in distress, crying. A crowd of villagers has gathered at the house. The villagers are continuously consoling the family members. Father Sompal has demanded justice from the police.
