Tractor brought for laying underground cable

Samvad Sutra, Jagran, Madhotanda. The forest department team had recently caught tractors digging for laying 5G lines in the land of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR). The driver of the vehicle had fled from the spot. Both the vehicles caught by the Forest Department team were released after imposing a fine of Rs 10,000. Also, the contractor was warned not to do this again.

For laying underground cable in PTR forest area, permission has to be taken from the Ministry, but if the sir is kind then digging can be done without permission. Especially if caught, he will be released after paying a small fine. Some contractors of the company had started work on Sunday to lay 5G underground cable in the border villages Budibhud and Sunder Nagar under Madhotanda area.

On receiving information about the matter, Deputy Ranger Vashishtha Kumar and Forest Inspector Shivam of Naujalha forest post team caught hold of both the tractors and parked them at the post. A case was also registered in this matter. After this, the surveyor who arrived from the district headquarters investigated there, in which he found that the digging work was going on in the PTR area itself. After being proven guilty, both the vehicles were fined Rs 5,000 each and released. DFO says that the drivers were also warned not to do such digging work again.

An application has been made for permission to do digging for laying underground cable in the area of ​​Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. A fine of Rs 5,000 each was imposed on the two tractors that had excavated the cable. Also, instructions were given not to do any digging work without permission.
