Complete ban on DJ in Saraswati Puja
Samvad Sutra, Lalganj. A peace committee meeting was organized in the Lalganj police station premises on Saturday to conduct Saraswati Puja in an amicable manner in a peaceful environment. While presiding over the meeting, SDPO Sadar-2 Gopal Mandal appealed to the puja committees to take license compulsorily. Also directed that in any case, the idols at all the places will be immersed on 24th and 25th January.
SDPO said that DJ will be completely banned in Saraswati Puja or immersion procession. It will also be mandatory to obtain a license for playing loudspeaker or mike. Strict action will be taken against those who use loudspeakers after 10 pm. The police will keep a close watch on those playing obscene songs, consuming drugs or spreading any kind of disturbance.
Strict action against those who create ruckus or obscenity
He warned that strict action would be taken against those who create ruckus or indulge in obscenity. He said that there will be arrangements for constant police patrolling in villages and intersections.
Also, an appeal was made to the city council and panchayat representatives that if any information is received about creating disturbance during puja or disobeying government orders, then immediately give the information on the official mobile number of the police station incharge, so that immediate action can be taken against those playing DJ or creating ruckus.
