PTI, New Delhi. Pilots' group ALPA India has expressed its condolences to the families of those killed in the Baramati plane crash and appealed to the people to avoid spreading rumors and creating narratives regarding the crash. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, two pilots and two others were killed in a plane crash near Baramati airport on Wednesday morning.

"We strongly believe that both the pilots would have adhered to the highest standards of professional ethics and would have made every possible effort to protect the aircraft and the people on board till their last breath," the Airline Pilots Association of India (ALPA India) said in a statement on Thursday.

It also urges everyone to avoid speculations, rumors or creating narratives without verified facts and proper investigation.

The pilots' organization said, 'We are confident that the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) and the AAIB (Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau) will conduct a thorough, impartial and transparent investigation and put forward their findings at the appropriate time.'
