Doctors say that cold has increased and pollution has also increased since last one month. Now, since last one week, the number of patients suffering from nose, ear and throat infection in the medical college has doubled.

Dr. Mehul Chaudhary, Assistant Professor of Kalyan Singh Government Medical College, said that he has been feeling cold for the last one week. Infections of nose, ear and throat are increasing due to changing weather. Patients suffering from throat infection, tonsil and ear pain are also arriving.

People are being careless due to weddings

Weddings are also going on with winter. People go to weddings, neglect to wear clothes and get caught in the cold. Cold again troubles us for ten to 15 days. Cold, cough and catarrh are troubling us in winter.

There is pain in the throat along with the ears. Patients who mistake sore throat for ear problems are vulnerable to referred otalgia. Patients aged between 20 to 50 years complain of heaviness in the ear, sometimes severe and sometimes mild pain.
