Jagran correspondent, Rampur. A huge fire broke out in a dumper that overturned on the roadside out of control. The driver saved his life by jumping. But the dumper got burnt.
Satnam Singh, resident of village Dibdiba of the area, is a dumper driver. Early on Monday, he was filling sand in his dumper and was going from Godi village towards Manpur Ojha village. Meanwhile, the driver lost control near Khata village on the way. Due to this the dumper went down the road and overturned.
Due to this, flames suddenly started rising due to short circuit in the diesel tank or engine. The flames were so terrible that the cloud of smoke spread from a great distance. As soon as the accident happened, the driver of the dumper showed wisdom and jumped out of the cabin before the fire became worse.
Although he suffered minor injuries. Those who have been sent to the nearest hospital for first aid. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade team reached the spot with fire engines.
Whereas the local police stopped the traffic for some time for security reasons. The fire brigade personnel completely controlled the fire after half an hour of hard work.
