156 modern railway accommodation will be built in Mahendrughat and Karbigahiya

Jagran correspondent, Patna. East Central Railway has prepared a plan to develop a residential complex equipped with modern facilities for railway employees and officers in Patna.
In this regard, various aspects of the project were discussed in a high-level meeting held under the chairmanship of General Manager Chhatrasal Singh at the East Central Railway Headquarters. According to the proposal, 12 type-four and 88 type-three railway houses will be built in Mahendrughat along with an additional office building for the construction department.
A six-storey tower will be built for type-four housing, with two flats on each floor. Whereas for Type-3, two towers will be built, each of which will have 11 floors and each floor will have four residences.
Parking arrangements for 200 vehicles will be made in the complex. Apart from this, modern facilities like pump room, fire fighting tank, water treatment plant, sewerage treatment plant, diesel generator and centralized panel room will also be developed.
Residence for officers in Karbigahiya
Similarly, 56 railway residences will be built for headquarters officers in Karbigahiya. There will be a seven-storey tower of type-five, with four residences on each floor. Two towers will be built for Type-6, which will have seven floors and two residences on each floor. Parking facility for 196 vehicles will be provided in the complex. There is also a provision for construction of eight shops and one restaurant here.
