A security guard got burnt due to gas leak in Green Field Colony, Faridabad.

Jagran correspondent, Faridabad. A fire broke out due to gas leakage in the booth of a security guard working at night in Green Field Colony. Due to which the security guard's face and hands got burnt. The guard was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. On the complaint of the guard's father, the police have registered a case against five people including the gas company owner and two managers.

Ajay Tiwari, living in Mohan Enclave of Palla, told that his son Nitesh Tiwari works in a security agency. His duty at present is in Green Valley Society. Separate cabins have been made for the security guards to sit while on duty. An underground gas pipeline is inserted from inside the side of the cabin.

It is alleged that for several days there was a foul smell inside the cabin due to gas leaking. Regarding which a complaint was made to the gas company by the society's RWA and security supervisor Shivam. Even after the complaint, no steps were taken by the gas company to rectify the defect.

At 1.30 in the night, son Nitesh Tiwari was sitting in his cabin. Due to the abundance of mosquitoes, Nitish lit incense sticks. As soon as the incense sticks were lit, a sudden fire broke out due to gas leakage. Due to which Nitesh's face and hands got burnt. When Nitesh raised an alarm, RWA officials reached the spot and extinguished the fire. After this the victim was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

On the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case against company owner Mitul, manager Puneet, Sunil Chaudhary and two others.
