Firing Over Land Dispute In Mathura, Elderly Man Shot In Leg, Incident Occurred In Golden City Area On Bharatpur Road.

जागरण संवाददाता, मथुरा। There was chaos due to firing over a land dispute at 10.45 am on Monday in the Golden City area located on Bharatpur Road in the Highway Police Station area. A 60-year-old man was seriously injured after being shot in the leg. The police have admitted him to the district hospital. On the application of the victim, the police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.

Dharampal, a resident of Natwar Nagar, and Janardan Pujari, a resident of Radhika Vihar Phase 2, Mandi Square, had a dispute over land in the Golden City area on Bharatpur Road in the Highway police station area at 10.45 am on Monday. Within no time, fighting and abuse started between both the parties.

Meanwhile, Janardan Pujari opened fire. Due to this, Dharampal's father, 60-year-old Pritam Chaturvedi, got shot in his left leg. He got injured and fell on the ground. The firing created chaos in the area. People informed the police. Highway police station in-charge Shailendra Singh reached the spot with the police force.

He admitted the injured to the district hospital, where his condition is said to be stable. On the application of the victim, the police have registered a case and started searching for the accused. The station in-charge said that the accused will be arrested soon.
