People demanding justice from the administration by blocking four lanes. Awakening
Dialogue Associate, Darbhanga. Ramsevak Ram (50), son of Parmeshwar Ram, resident of Bhuskaul Ward 4 of Sadar police station area, was murdered in a restaurant near Akhtarpur toll plaza in Vaishali district on Monday night.
Angered by this, relatives and villagers blocked the Darbhanga-Muzaffarpur four lane with the dead body near Basaila turn on Wednesday afternoon. After this, they started demanding justice by setting fire to the four lane. Ramsevak used to work as an artisan in the restaurant.
The relative alleged that the restaurant owner gave the information after the post-mortem was conducted after the murder of Ram Sevak. When we asked questions to the hotel manager and demanded documents related to the post-mortem process, we were asked to immediately take the body home.
Seeing the haste of the hotel manager, the thought of murder came to his mind. When asked about the dead body, it was told that the body was lying on the railway track. The police has not taken any action in this regard.
We have been pleading for justice from the Vaishali administration for the last two days regarding the dead body. But since no initiative was seen in this direction, we were forced to block the four lane. On the other hand, due to blocking of Darbhanga Muzaffarpur four lane for two and a half hours, there was chaos among the pedestrians on the road.
Long queues of vehicles stood on both sides of the four lane. Due to this the traffic was completely affected. Pedestrians coming and going from the four lane remained troubled. After about two and a half hours, the police of Sadar police station ended the jam by convincing the villagers. Sadar Police Station Head Mukesh Kumar said that after being explained by the police, people agreed and went home with the dead body.
Incident Government's failure: Sahani
VIP supremo Mukesh Sahni, who was going to Patna, also got stranded during the jam. Sahni got down from the car and met his relatives and demanded action from the police and called it a failure of the government regarding the incident. He told that he himself was stuck in the traffic jam for two and a half hours.
He kept calling the concerned administration here, talked to the victim's family, heard their plight and demanded necessary action. Along with the present government here, their administration has also become oblivious. They have nothing to do with public problems. People of police administration are busy in selling liquor.
