Jagran correspondent, Patna. Chhatrasal Singh, General Manager of East Central Railway, inspected the window trailing of Patna-Natesar railway section on Friday. During the inspection, he made a thorough inspection of the tracks, bridges and other structures on Patna-Natesar via Bakhtiyarpur-Harnaut-Rajgir and on Natesar-Daniyawan-Jatdumri-Patna railway section on return. The General Manager directed to further improve track maintenance to ensure safe and smooth railway operations.
In the first phase of inspection, the General Manager reached Coach Repair Factory, Harnaut, where he inspected LHB Wheel Shop, Bogie Shop, CMT Lab, HRS Shop, Hot and Cold Chamber, AC Duct Cleaning and AB Shop.
He especially reviewed the work related to security. On this occasion, a 250 kilowatt capacity solar power plant and AMDBS maintenance unit were inaugurated in the factory premises.
The General Manager was informed that a total of 648 coaches have been POHed by the factory till December in this financial year. The factory is performing better by producing POH of 79 coaches per month more than the set target.
After this, the General Manager reached Rajgir Station, where he inspected the redevelopment works being done under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and instructed the officials to pay special attention to the quality and time limit. During the inspection, Divisional Railway Manager of Danapur Division Vinod Kumar and officials of related departments were present.
