Digital Desk, Bhopal. There was an uproar after half-burnt bodies of two newborn babies were found in front of the mortuary in the Hamidia Hospital complex of the capital. Both the bodies were wrapped in a foil. On the information of mortuary staff, Kohefija police seized both the bodies. His post-mortem will be conducted on Thursday. Only after this will the exact cause and estimated time of death be revealed.
Hospital management maintained silence
Kohefija police station in-charge Krishna Gopal Shukla said that at around 12 noon on Wednesday, information was received about the dead bodies of two newborn babies. After this, both the bodies were recovered after reaching the spot. At present, the police is scanning the CCTV cameras around the incident site. Also, information related to recent births of children is being collected in Hamidia Hospital.
In this matter, an attempt was made to contact the hospital superintendent Dr. Sunil Tandon, but he did not receive the phone. On the other hand, GMC Dean Dr. Kavita N. Singh said that he has not received any information about this incident.
200 security personnel deployed, yet no one knows
About 200 security personnel are deployed in Hamidia Hospital. Nevertheless, the discovery of dead bodies of two newborn children is a sign of serious negligence on the part of the security system.
