21 year old Nishu, daughter of Bhure, resident of village Mandori of Seohara area, has been suffering from TB and anemia for the last one year. Due to financial constraints and family circumstances, he could not get proper treatment. It is said that the girl's father is somehow supporting the family by working in a private hospital in Dhampur.
But was unable to afford the treatment. According to the victim Nishu, her brother is a drug addict. On Saturday, his brother brought him from home on the pretext of getting him treatment and ran away leaving him in a helpless condition near a roadside drain in Dhampur. Seeing the girl lying on the roadside for a long time, a crowd of passers-by gathered, but unfortunately no one helped immediately.
Later, someone informed about this to social worker doctor Dr. NP Singh. He reached the spot and admitted him in his car to Shri Ram Sarvodaya Hospital located at Nagina Marg, where his treatment is going on.
According to doctors, the condition of the girl remains critical. But now it is said to be stable. On receiving information about the case, Deputy District Magistrate Smriti Mishra took cognizance and directed to provide all possible relief to the victim. Investigation of the entire incident has been started at the Tehsildar level and administrative action is being taken regarding the treatment and rehabilitation of the victim.
