Power Corporation Director of Commerce Prashant Verma has said that electricity consumers with smart prepaid meters who have negative balance in their accounts may have their home electricity cut off automatically at any time. An appeal has been made to such consumers to immediately recharge their connection and make their account positive. An attractive electricity bill relief scheme is currently being run by the Corporation. Deposit the outstanding amount through this scheme.
