Continuing the ongoing series of meetings with various departments before finalizing the upcoming budget of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will hold separate meetings with eight departments throughout the day on Tuesday. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is also in charge of the financial matters of Jammu and Kashmir.
The concerned officials said that the series of pre-budget meetings was to be completed last month itself, but due to some reasons the meetings of 24 departments could not be held. Now these meetings will be held on January 20, January 21 and January 22.

According to available information, a meeting of Energy Development, Housing and Urban Development, Finance and Revenue Department will be held in the Secretariat on Tuesday morning, January 20. These meetings will be held from 10 am to 12 noon. There will be a meeting with the General Administrative Department, Law-Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Tourism Department and Information Department from 12 noon to 2 pm.
On January 21, there will be a meeting of the Chief Minister with Social Welfare, School Education, Higher Education, Health and Medical Education Department from 10 to 12 am and with Public Works, Mining, Industry and Commerce Department and Labor and Employment Department from 12 noon to 2 pm.
On Thursday, January 22, there will be a meeting with the Department of Forest and Environment, Jal Shakti, Transport and Youth Services and Sports from 10 am to 12 noon and from 12 noon to 2 pm, there will be a meeting regarding the budget of the Department of Food Supply and Consumer Affairs, Information Technology, Agricultural Production and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Affairs Department.
Concerned officials said that the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, advisors to the Chief Minister, administrative secretaries of all concerned departments and other concerned officers will attend these meetings.
