BJP MLA calls Rahul Gandhi Pappu in Rajasthan Assembly
Jasan, Jaipur. There was an uproar in the Rajasthan Assembly on Thursday when BJP MLA Shankar Singh Rawat called the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, Pappu.
Rawat said that Rahul goes abroad and speaks ill of the country. Congress leaders should note that he is no more Pappu, you should get him engaged. On this, Congress MLAs stood on their seats and started creating ruckus. There was a heated argument between BJP and Congress MLAs for a long time. The matter calmed down within some time.
Meanwhile, when Congress MLA Ganesh Ghoghra accused state Tribal Development Minister Babulal Kharadi of commission taking, government ministers and BJP MLAs objected. Kharadi said that if the allegations are proved then I will leave politics.

The investigating agency on Thursday temporarily attached assets worth Rs 177.3 crore under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The ED investigation has so far identified 'proceeds of crime' worth more than Rs 2,300 crore. According to the agency, this huge amount of money was raised through illegal online betting and gambling and then laundered through various means.
The attached properties include agricultural land, residential plots and other movable properties. With this latest action, a total of assets worth over Rs 320 crore have been attached in the case so far.
This entire case is based on several FIRs registered in different states across the country. Investigation revealed that MLA Virendra and his associates were running a nationwide illegal network through websites like 'King567'. According to ED, the accused used to lure innocent people to invest money in games like online casino.
