Jagran correspondent, Sambhal. The administrative process regarding SIR is progressing at a very fast pace and at present the work of hearing on the notices sent to absentee voters is going on continuously.
In the same sequence, the hearing of notices issued from various booths under Chandausi assembly constituency in the Bahjoi development block complex located at the district headquarters is being heard by the Assistant Election Nationalization Officer.
The situation is such that voters started arriving in the block premises from 9 o'clock in the morning to submit their replies to their notices, due to which a huge crowd was seen in the block premises. During the hearing, factual information, necessary documents and clarifications related to absenteeism are being obtained from the voters, so that the voter list can be made error free and updated.
Assistant Election Registration Officer Mahesh Kumar said that the hearing process is being done with complete transparency and special care is being taken to ensure that the name of any eligible voter is not removed from the list unnecessarily.
At the same time, in view of the ever increasing crowd, additional staff have been deployed to maintain the system, so that the hearing can be conducted smoothly and the voters do not face any kind of inconvenience.
