Youth dies after being shot while eating biryani.
Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. In Seelampur area on Tuesday evening, after burying his friend's father in the graveyard, a jeans businessman who was eating biryani at a shop died after being shot in the stomach. The deceased has been identified as Tariq Hasan. The murder of the businessman has become a mystery.
The police is searching for answers to these questions whether someone shot the young man or the businessman himself had a pistol and he got hit due to the sudden firing. No pistol or any other weapon has been recovered from the spot. Seelampur police station has taken the body into its custody and sent it for post-mortem. Forensic and crime teams have collected evidence from the spot.
Tariq lived with his family in Chand Bagh. The family consists of father Qaiser Hasan, brother Shariq Hasan, wife and two children. Tariq has a big jeans business. He has a jeans shop in Karol Bagh. The family told that a friend of Tariq lives in Seelampur. The friend's father Manzoor had died on Tuesday.
He was laid to rest in the Welcome cemetery in the evening. Tariq also went. At 5.15 pm, Tariq reached the biryani shop in K-Block, Seelampur from the cemetery. He was eating biryani with some of his acquaintances. Then suddenly he was shot in the stomach. He fell down drenched in blood.
In injured condition, he was admitted to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The family has denied having any enmity with anyone. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The shopkeepers present at the spot and the people nearby told the police that no sound of gunshot was heard. Nor did he see anyone firing.
