Jagran correspondent, Moradabad. Amidst the dispute in Galshaheed area, the husband cheated the woman and got married for the second time. The woman living in her maternal home was not even given money for maintenance despite the court order. Along with the accused, his family members also tortured him. On the complaint, on the orders of the SSP, the police have registered an FIR against 11 including the husband.
Fareha alias Khushboo, a resident of Asalatpura Badi Masjid of Galshaheed, told in the complaint letter given to the SSP recently that she is having a dispute with her husband. A case of maintenance and domestic violence has been filed against her husband in the family court. To avoid paying maintenance, husband Samiuddin is living in Bengalpura Bandra, Mumbai.
The accused husband used to threaten to marry another girl and a month ago he married another girl. Has a younger son Zayan Ahmed. She is living in her maternal home with her widowed mother. There is no source of income at home. The husband is not paying the amount of maintenance decided by the court.
On the contrary, he is physically and mentally torturing her by bringing another wife. Her sisters Qamar Fatma, Mehar Fatma, brother-in-law Salim, brothers Ejaz, Rehan and Shamshuddin, sister-in-law Sameena, Shabana, Subohi and Tehmina etc. are also involved in this act of her husband. All of them together have fraudulently arranged the second marriage of Samiuddin and are harassing him with new conspiracies every day.
Taking the complaint seriously, the SSP had ordered an FIR. Police Station Head Pawan Kumar said that on the basis of the complaint letter, an FIR has been registered against 11 in-laws including the husband under sections of harassment and threatening.
