Parikshitgarh police station has arrested seven cow slaughterers, including a woman, while slaughtering a cow inside a house in Asifabad village. 10 kg meat has been recovered from the possession of cowherds. According to the police, information was received on Tuesday night that cow slaughter was being done in a house in Asifabad village. As soon as the information was received, the police team conducted a raid.
From the spot, Nazakat, resident of Khizri village of Yamunanagar district of Haryana, Arsad, Shahrukh, Farooq, Razzaq, Usman and wife of Razzaq, resident of Chausana village of Jhijhana police station area of Shamli, residents of Jhabbapuri police station Parikshitgarh have been arrested. The police have registered a case against all of them under the Cow Slaughter Act.
