CM Dr. Mohan Yadav hoisted the tricolor in Ujjain on Republic Day.
Digital Desk, New Delhi. On the occasion of Republic Day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav created history by hoisting the national flag on the banks of Shipra river. This is the first time that a Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has hoisted the flag on the banks of Shipra River on the occasion of Republic Day.
For the first time, Republic Day has been organized at Kartik Mela Ground in Ujjain. Earlier this event used to be held on Dussehra ground.
This change was made to connect the religious-cultural identity of Ujjain with the message of the republic. During his speech at the function organized on this occasion, Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Sandipani Ashram of Ujjain will also be developed.
Dr. Mohan Yadav reiterated that the areas around Ujjain, Indore and Bhopal will be developed as metropolitan cities by connecting them.
