संवाद सहयोगी, शिवहर/पिपराही। The hurdle of payment of compensation for the land acquired for the construction of Shivhar-Sitamarhi railway line will be removed. District Magistrate Pratibha Rani has intensified the administration initiative for payment of compensation for the land acquired for the construction of the railway.
Under this, panchayat wise camps will be organized for compensation payment. By organizing camps on 12th January in Meenapur Balha, on 13th January in Dhankaul and on 16th January in Parsauni Baij Panchayat, compensation will be paid after removing the errors in the documents of the tenants.
To speed up the process of construction of Shivhar-Sitamarhi railway line, District Magistrate Pratibha Rani gave the above instructions in a meeting held with the tenants at the block office Piprahi. In the meeting, the District Magistrate asked many questions on the points of compensation payment to the raiyats of Meenapur Balha, Dhankaul and Parsauni Baij Panchayat.
Suggestions were also received. It was told by the tenants that their pattidars were not giving consent for compensation payment. It came to light that there was no written partition between various Rayats, Fariqs and Pattidars. They are in possession of their land on the basis of self-distribution.
It was told that due to sealing of many lands, there is difficulty in paying compensation. As per departmental instructions, compensation amount is not to be paid to the buyer of ceiling land.
Besides, it also came to light that compensation payment was pending due to cases related to double encroachment of some ryots. The District Magistrate, after investigating and verifying the cases related to double Jamabandhi, after conducting a proper hearing, directed the Additional Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer and Piprahi CO to execute the cases within a week.
The District Magistrate said that the concerned Panchayat representatives, Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs and Chiefs should take meaningful initiative to reach an agreement before organizing the camp among the ryots among whom payment cannot be agreed due to family reasons. After the meeting, the District Magistrate also inspected the land acquisition camp located at Dekuli Dham.
