Samvad Sutra, Shishgarh. Four months ago, the Panchayat took the decision by not bringing the rape case within the ambit of law. It was decided that both of them should get married. When both the families agreed, the matter was closed. Now when it came to marriage, the accused young man turned away. In this case, when the girl filed an FIR against the accused, the police sent him to jail.
A girl resident of a village in Shishgarh told the police that Nazim, who lived in the neighbourhood, had entered her house and raped her four months ago. When he was caught, he was not handed over to the police; instead, the matter was put before the village panchayat. The Panchayat took the decision after listening to both the sides. It was decided that the Nazim and the girl accused of rape should get married.
At that time, the accused Nazim and his family decided to save their lives. The girl alleges that after this the accused physically abused her several times. It is alleged that the accused had also recorded videos. After a few days, Nazim started refusing to marry.
When the girl pressurized him for marriage, the accused threatened to circulate the video. When the girl's relatives went to the accused's house to talk to the family, the accused's brother-in-law Shafiq and Aslam abused them and beat them up and drove them away. In this case, the police has now sent the accused Nazim to jail.
