Jagran correspondent, Ara. In Bhojpur district, an assistance amount of Rs 1,000 each is being given to orphans, destitute, children suffering from HIV/AIDS and leprosy, run by the Social Welfare Department.
At present, more than 879 children are being benefited under this scheme in the district. And to provide the benefits of the scheme to as many children as possible, a special camp is being organized in Ara Sadar Hospital.
Under the Parvarish Yojana in the district, those children who are orphan and destitute and live with their nearest relative or are suffering from HIV, AIDS or leprosy are being helped by the government.
In order to ensure that these children do not feel marginalized and neglected in the society, the District Child Protection Unit is helping them in their living by giving them an amount of Rs. 1000 every month.
If the age of such children is below 18 years, the annual income of the parents or any other person raising them should be less than Rs 60 thousand, but in case of HIV, AIDS and leprosy, they will be given this benefit even if the annual income is more than Rs 60 thousand.

To avail the benefit of Parvarish Yojana in Bhojpur district, the application form can be collected here and submitted free of cost to Anganwadi Centre, CDPO office and Assistant Director District Child Protection Unit.

879 beneficiaries of Parvarish Yojana are getting benefits in the district
Currently 879 beneficiaries are getting benefits under Parvarish Yojana in Bhojpur district. In this, the maximum beneficiaries include 148 beneficiaries from Arrah block, 101 from Barhar, 90 from Jagdishpur, 83 from Bihiya, Koilwar 79, Charpokhari and Shahpur 71-71, Piro 53, Udwantnagar 52, Agiaon 41, Sahar and Tarari 31-31, Gadhani 18 and 10 from Sandesh. Every month an assistance amount of Rs 1000 is sent to everyone's account.
