Ramesh Chandra, Nainital. The surface of the Sun is covered with sun spots. These spots are more clearly visible from Mars than from Earth. Rover Perseverance present on Mars has captured and sent pictures of half a dozen sun spots on the surface of the Sun.

Dr. Wahabuddin, former director of Aryabhatta Observational Science Research Institute (ARIES) and solar scientist, said that after the availability of advanced technology and facilities, we have acquired the ability to peer into the depths of space.

We have been able to see the back side of the Sun from other planets of the solar system also. Recently, the Rover Perseverance present on Mars has sent pictures of the Sun's surface.

It is clearly visible in the pictures that sun spot groups are still visible on the surface of the Sun. These sun spots are in the rear part of the Sun and this part is not visible from the Earth.

These days, the area in front of the Sun as seen from the Earth appears calm. Due to which it was believed that the activities on the Sun have calmed down but this is not the case at all.

Pictures sent from the Rover Perseverance show that the Sun is not calm but very active.

Now if these sun spots start moving forward then there will be a possibility of explosions. Due to which there will be a possibility of solar storms continuing to arise with huge flames.

Therefore, solar scientists will have to continue to closely monitor the Sun in the coming days also. There will be a possibility of increase in solar activity again next week.

Sun Spot AR-4366 is currently being made

According to Dr. Wahabuddin, the dangerous sun spot AR-4366 from Mars still remains. This sun spot has made a huge explosion.

It had produced six Class X solar flares with spectacular explosions in February alone. From which solar storms arose.

This sun spot was spread over an area of two lakh km, which could be seen with the naked eye from Earth.
