Police Kept Calling, But No Response Came From Kolkata; Dead Bodies Of Father And Son Rotting Waiting For Their Loved Ones

Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. Relationships are for a person's happiness and sorrow, but the dead bodies of father and son found in Muzaffarpur were rotting waiting for their loved ones. Leave alone any investigation, the police called the relative's mobile number several times, but no one received it.

There is a foul smell coming from the dead body lying in SKMCH. FMT (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology) Department Head Dr. Nitish Kumar has asked the police to conduct the last rites without any delay. Police Station Head Rohan Kumar said that the last rites will be conducted soon. As per rules, if the relatives do not arrive, the last rites have to be performed after 72 hours.

Dead body found in rest house room

According to the information, on January 30, the dead bodies of a tiles businessman and his son were found hanging in Goswami Rest House in front of Patna Bus Stand in Bairia of Ahiyapur police station area. The police arrived on the information of the rest house operator, broke the door and removed the dead bodies from the room.

They were identified as 37-year-old Subhankar Sau and his 15-year-old son Devanshu Sau, residents of Padmapukur under Khidirpur police station, Kolkata. Police continuously contacted the mobile numbers of grandfather, wife and brother found in father's pocket, but no one picked up.
