Politics heated up due to brother Virendra's statement

A statement by senior party MLA Bhai Virendra has not only exposed the internal politics of RJD but has also given an opportunity to the ruling BJP to attack.
Open displeasure over ticket distribution
RJD MLA Bhai Virendra raised serious questions on the party's ticket distribution and said that local and strong leaders were ignored and people from other districts were made candidates. He clearly said that such decisions caused loss to the party and could not create the desired impact in the Assembly.
Dinara seat became the root of controversy
Bhai Virendra specifically gave the example of Dinara assembly seat. He said that he and Vijay Mandal had been MLAs together. When ultimately the ticket was to be given to a candidate from the Yadav community, then why the ticket of sitting MLA Vijay Mandal was cut is beyond comprehension.

He asked what was the shortcoming in Vijay Mandal due to which his ticket was cancelled. Brother Virendra also claimed that he had tried his best to save Vijay Mandal's ticket within the party, but his views were not listened to.
Taunt on 'socialist in name' leaders
Bhai Virendra directly attacked some leaders within the party. He said that some people in RJD are socialists in name only, who run the politics of two-three districts simultaneously. The condition of the party cannot improve if tickets continue to be given on the recommendations of such people.
Told the reason for the defeat to the organization
The RJD MLA blamed the election defeat on the party organization and ticket distribution strategy. He said that many dedicated workers did not get tickets, while some leaders were given responsibilities at other places, due to which the balance on the ground was disturbed.

BJP immediately reacted to brother Virendra's statement. Party spokesperson Neeraj Kumar said that RJD's own MLAs are now raising questions on the ticket distribution system. He said that Tejashwi Yadav should answer on this.

Neeraj Kumar sarcastically said that Tejashwi Yadav has been raising questions sometimes on EVMs and sometimes on the Election Commission, while the MLAs of his own party are now citing ticket distribution as the reason for the defeat. This clearly shows the internal strife of RJD.
