Jagran News Network, New Delhi. Protests are increasing against team owner Shah Rukh Khan over the inclusion of Bangladeshi players in the KKR team. A day after former BJP MLA Sangeet Som expressed his anger, religious leaders and storytellers have also opened a front on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Som had called team owner and Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan a traitor. In Nagpur on Thursday, spiritual guru Jagatguru Rambhadracharya strongly criticized Shahrukh for including Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman in the squad for IPL 2026.

Shahrukh's attitude has always been like that of a 'traitor' - Sant

The saint said that this is very unfortunate. Shah Rukh's attitude has always been that of a "traitor". He condemned the attacks on minority Hindus in Bangladesh and stressed that the Indian government should not tolerate such incidents.

He said that the people of Bangladesh and their government should be explained that their country was built with the help of Hindus.

Narrator Devkinandan Thakur raised the issue

On the other hand, storyteller Devkinandan Thakur, who is narrating Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in Mumbai, says that minority Hindus are being treated violently in the neighboring country. In such a situation, including a Bangladeshi player in the team gives a wrong message. Addressing Shah Rukh, he said that do not forget that it is these Indians who have made you a hero. The one who can make a hero can also make a zero.

Aligarh's royal chief Maulana Chaudhary Ifrahim Hussain said that the decision to include a Bangladeshi player in the KKR team has put humanity to shame. Any business or sporting deal must be judged on ethical standards.

News of Mustafizur Rahman being bought for Rs 9 crore

The news of Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman being bought for Rs 9 crore in a sensitive period has created outrage across the country. At a time when minorities are being persecuted in Bangladesh, such a deal gives a morally wrong message. This decision is against the spirit of national interest.

Will take up this matter with the central government

Maharashtra Minority Commission Chairman Pyare Khan said that I request Shahrukh Khan that if the people of our country are facing injustice in Bangladesh, then we should ban their players so that a message can be given. He further said that they will take up the matter with the central government.
