Samvad Sutra, Pratapganj (Supaul). When Vaishali Express ran as a special train on the Saharsa-Forbisganj railway line, it used to stop at Pratapganj railway station. Now it passes this station without stopping and people feel cheated. Due to this, there is huge anger among thousands of travelers in the area. This train, which was considered the lifeline of passengers for the last few months, is now forcing people to look at it while passing through the platform. Due to closure of Vaishali Express by Railways, students, working people, businessmen and patients as well as people living away from home are being affected the most.

Railways ends stoppage of Vaishali Express at Pratapganj

People say that the Railway Department is determined to ensure pleasant long distance travel. Despite this, this arbitrariness of the Railways is a complete disregard for the needs of the local people. Local passengers allege that it is incomprehensible to stop the train despite the number of passengers at Pratapganj station. Especially the passengers going towards various routes via Delhi have to go to other railway stations many kilometers away to catch this train, due to which the burden of financial loss has increased with time.

Passengers are facing problems

Now that the superfast status of Vaishali train has also ended, it has become just an express train. Pratapganj is the nearest railway station for the people of neighboring blocks Chhatapur, Triveniganj and a part of Raghopur along with the large population of the block area. From where they have been traveling easily. People have drawn the attention of the regional public representatives and the railway administration and said that if the stoppage of Baishali Express is not restored soon, then the path of agitation will be adopted.
