Keeping in mind the adverse effect of cold on the health of children, the District Magistrate has declared a three-day holiday for children up to class eight.
District Basic Education Officer Kalpana Devi said that keeping in mind the health of children due to low morning temperature and excessive fog in the district, holiday for children from classes one to eight has been declared till December 20. As per the instructions of District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, this order of holiday will be effective in the schools run by the Basic Education Department along with secondary, aided and schools recognized by all the boards. Parents have felt relieved by this.
