Naseem Khan resigned from the primary membership of Congress after 18 years.

Social and political activist Naseem Khan, who has played an active role in Congress from district level to state level for the last 18 years, has resigned from the primary membership of the Congress Party. He took this decision after the resignation of party leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui.

He said that after being associated with the ideology of the party for a long time, it was a very difficult decision to leave it, but this time he has chosen to be with a better person by leaving the party. Naseem Khan told that during his long political journey in the Congress Party, he got the support of many senior leaders and colleagues at every step. This decision was not easy for him and he came to this conclusion only after continuous deliberations for the last several days.

He clarified that there is no complaint or grievance of any kind behind leaving the party. He also said that he will have respect for the top leadership of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and the strong foundation stone of Congress, Sonia Gandhi. No matter what ideology he works with in future, his respect for the Gandhi family will always remain. This decision of his is being considered as a blow to the Congress organization.
