Silver Price: After crossing ₹ 2 lakh, silver fell sharply, became cheaper by Rs 8800 in one stroke; Why did the decline occur?
Silver Price Today: After crossing two lakh rupees for the first time, there was a huge fall in the price of silver. On Multi Commodity Exchange i.e. MCX, the price of silver with March 2026 expiry reached Rs 1,92,784 per kg (Silver Rate Today on MCX).
The special thing is that this fall in silver was seen when on Friday, December 12, silver had made an all time high record (Silver Price All Time High) with Rs 2,01,615. That means, the price of silver fell by Rs 8831 in a day. On the last trading day i.e. Thursday, silver had closed at Rs 1,98,942. In comparison, a huge fall of 3.10 percent was recorded in silver at Rs 6,158.
The main reason for this decline is the sudden change in the market and the reaction of investors. Experts believe that this instability may persist for some time, so investors are advised to remain cautious. It is important to keep an eye on market trends.
