In the press conference, the BJP MP said that this is the way of the Aam Aadmi Party when it is misusing the government machinery and suppressing democracy, media and any kind of criticism.

He further said that Section 194 which gives the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly the right to investigate the statement of any member of the Legislative Assembly and when the forensic report came, it was also found that the video on which objection has been raised has not been tampered with in any way.

Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that Atishi is not the first AAP leader to insult any religion or religious gurus, former minister Rajendra Pal Gautam in Delhi, AAP president Saurabh Bhardwaj in Delhi and AAP workers in Punjab have also insulted different religions from time to time.
