At the same time, the biggest victims of this are the street vendors. Especially in this winter they are facing a lot of trouble. In such a situation, the subdivision administration has asked to shift the street vendors to food parks and vending zones in the new year, which can provide relief to their pain.
Sadar SDO and IAS officer Partha Gupta and Municipal Commissioner Kumar Mangalam have jointly given the above information. The officer duo has said that very soon the street vendors of the city will be shifted to food parks and vending zones. Street vendors will get their correct addresses in the first month of the new year.
Also, the city is going to get relief from the problem of traffic jam, for this parking area has been marked. The officer duo said that along with taking action against roadside stalls, shops and illegal encroachments, alternative arrangements are also being made for the vendors.
Sadar SDO and Municipal Commissioner visited the city on Wednesday and took stock of the places where encroachments were removed. Officials said that to provide relief from the problem of traffic jam in the city, the district administration has intensified the removal of encroachments campaign.
Get rid of the problem of traffic jam
Encroachments on both sides of the city roads and illegal encroachments on government land are being removed. He said that the carts, shops and illegal constructions installed on government land in the entire city are being identified and removed, so that the common people can get relief from the problem of traffic jam.
Besides, continuous monitoring of those places is also being done so that encroachment does not happen again. In this sequence, the team of District Administration and Municipal Corporation has inspected the major jam affected areas of the city.
Areas like Girija Chowk, RN Shah Chowk and Bus Stand Road were inspected. Told that if shops or carts are set up again at these places, heavy fines will be imposed on the people concerned.
On the other hand, the administration is also making alternative arrangements for vendors setting up roadside stalls and shops. Different parking zones are being marked for parking of vehicles, so that the traffic system can run smoothly.
Under this, the food park located at Aastha Mandir and the vending zone located at Panchmukhi were also inspected. The process of shifting the vendors to these designated sites will be started soon. For this, vendors are being invited and identified.
