In order to ensure convenience of citizens and better service availability, the Department of Posts (India Post) has extended the working hours of 10 major post offices in Gurugram and Rewari districts. With this decision, especially employed people, businessmen and general customers will now be able to avail the benefits of post, parcel and post booking services for additional hours even after regular hours.
Gurgaon Division Superintendent Headquarters Post Office Gulshan Kumar said that the Business Post Center (BPC) Gurgaon in Gurugram district will be operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Gurgaon Head Post Office will now remain open till 8 pm.
Apart from this, ICD sub post offices will provide services till 6 pm, Galleria and DLF QE sub post offices till 5 pm. The working timings of DLF Phase-2, Mini Secretariat, Shivaji Nagar and Vatika India Sector-82 Sub-Post Office have been fixed till 4 pm.
The working timings of Rewari Main Post Office (MDG) in Rewari district have been extended till 7 pm. All these post offices will remain open during extended hours on working days of the week i.e. from Monday to Friday. Postal services related to speed post, registry, parcel booking will be provided to the customers during extended working hours.
