Under the constitutional process of electing the BJP state president, the members of the provincial council are first decided. One member is elected from 403 assembly constituencies. However, they are elected from the places where the District President has been declared. BJP has divided the state into 98 districts. Out of these, 84 district heads have been declared. Of these, more than 350 have been declared members of the Provincial Council. Apart from this, 10-10 percent of the party's Legislative and Parliament members join the Council. BJP has 258 members in the Legislative Assembly and 79 members in the Legislative Council i.e. total 337 members. Of these, 34 will become members of the council. Similarly, 33 members in Lok Sabha and 24 in Rajya Sabha i.e. out of total 57 members, six members will join the Provincial Council.
For the election of the State President, only more than 50 percent of the district heads were required to be selected, whereas at present 86 percent of the district heads have been selected. Similarly, elections have been held in more than 1600 out of 1918 divisions. In such a situation, there is no technical obstacle in the election process of the state chapter. Although traditionally in BJP the president is usually selected unanimously, but the preliminary process will be completed completely. After the release of the voting list, two days will be decided. The first day will be for nomination, scrutiny and withdrawal of nominations. If only one nomination is filed then the election will be held unanimously. If more than one candidate files nomination, voting and counting will take place on the second day. Members will also be elected from here for the National Council.
The proponent will be a top leader
The proposer Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both the Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak and prominent leaders of the organization can be included in the nomination of the State President. Similarly, in the election of the National President, the proposers are members of the National Council. In such a situation, it is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh from the state may join the National Council.
