Dialogue Associate, Jagran, Rampur. The marks of intermediate practical examinations of Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education will be uploaded twice on the portal, so that there is no possibility of irregularities at any level. Intermediate practical examinations will start in the district from February 2.

Intermediate practical examinations are to be conducted from February 2 to 9. In this, 25518 candidates are registered in high school and 21248 candidates are registered in intermediate. UP Board is being completely strict regarding the intermediate experimental examination. Where the practical examination will be monitored under the surveillance of CCTV cameras and voice recorders.

At the same time, now the process of monitoring and giving marks of practical examinations has been made online. The examiner will have to give marks online at the examination center itself. Last year, orders were invited through both online and offline methods on an experimental basis. After the success of the online system, now the digital medium has been completely adopted.

Now under the new system, examiners will have to upload the marks twice through the mobile app. After filling the table for the first time for a maximum of 80 students from the group allotted to the examiner, the system will automatically open the window for re-uploading of marks. After selection, their marks will have to be filled.

If any difference is found in the marks filled both the times then the system will display those discrepancies and the examiner will have to modify them. Unless both entries are identical the system will not accept them. For security reasons, geo fencing technology is also being used in this process.

According to experts, when the examiners login to the center through the mobile app, the system will match their current geographical location (geo parameters) with the pre-entered data. The process of practical examination will be able to proceed only if it is within the prescribed distance.

Camera recording will be kept safe

To maintain the integrity of the practical examination, it will be conducted under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Also, the recording of the examinations will be kept safe for six months. So that it can be made available on demand as per requirement.

Mobile teams will also be on tour for cheating-free examination

For cheating-free examination, mobile teams will also remain on tour and take stock of the examination. Students coming to appear for practical examination will be thoroughly checked before entering the center and will be allowed entry only after no objectionable thing is found. For security arrangements, police personnel will be deployed outside the examination center set up for the experimental examination, who will be responsible for maintaining peace.

In the experimental examination, UP Board has implemented a new system of giving marks to the candidates through the app. With this, there will be no confusion in the practical examination. Installation of CCTV cameras at all examination centers and other instructions have been given for the examination.
