Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. Bareilly has created a record in getting people's lost mobiles returned. According to the ranking released from the state, Bareilly has secured the first position in returning lost mobiles this year. Whereas Kaushambi and Bhadohi have come at second and third place. If we talk about the last place then Mainpuri is the last in the state.
According to police records, a total of 219 mobiles were registered for trace in January this year. Of these, 130 mobiles were recovered and handed over directly to their owners, resulting in a recovery percentage of 59.36. Whereas if we look at the volume score based on the number of mobile phones recovered, it was 100 percent.
According to the police, when the victim comes to the police station after losing any mobile, that mobile is traced through tracing through IMEI number, coordination with network companies and continuous follow-up. SSP Anurag Arya says that the police station and surveillance team play an important role in recovering the lost mobile.
These districts remained in top 10
According to the data released from the government, Bareilly is at the first place in recovery of lost mobiles, Kaushambi is at the second place, Bhadohi is at the third place, Sambhal is at the fourth place, Hathras is at the fifth place, Jalaun is at the sixth place, Sonbhadra is at the seventh place, Jhansi is at the eighth place, Rai Bareilly is at the ninth place and Amethi is at the tenth place. Mainpuri is at the last position.
