In a span of one week, Bajrang Dal officials caught the game at two places in Unnao. Allegation of religious conversion was directly reported to the police. Police found Bible, Christian books and other evidence in the prayer meeting, but the people present there directly denied the talk of religious conversion.

The police did not consider it appropriate to investigate why people of other religions gathered at the prayer meeting of a Christian missionary. The same incident was seen in Ghatori village of Dahi area on Sunday. Here too, 70-80 people were gathered inside a tin shed behind closed walls and became a part of the prayer meeting.

there was no permission letter

When Bajrang Dal convenor Nitin Shukla protested, the people present inside united and asked everyone to return. Director Neeraj Kumar could not show the permission letter for the event to Naib Tehsildar Sadar Yashwant Singh. On Monday morning, the police registered a case against nine named and 60 unidentified people for violating prohibitory orders. People of Bajrang Dal demonstrated outside the DM and SP office saying that no concrete action was taken on religious conversion.

Wherever evidence of religious conversion is found, a case is registered and action is taken. No evidence of religious conversion has been found so far in Hulaskheda of Achalganj and Ghatori village of Dahi. The administrative team is investigating.
