Jagran correspondent, Bahraich. Along with winter, fog has also arrived. After continuous fog for two days, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert. There will be a drop in day and night temperatures due to dense fog and westerly wind. Due to excessive fog, visibility will remain within 50 meters. According to the Meteorological Department, orange alert will continue for the next three days.
There is dense fog in the morning in the district for the last two days. Even on Thursday there was a very dense fog at six in the morning. Visibility was less than 50 metres. The employees and students who started leaving from 8 in the morning had to face a lot of problems. The children going in the van were seen shivering. After 9.30 in the morning the fog ended and the sun came out. The sun was out at 12 noon, but the heat was negligible. Due to which people continued to feel cold even during the day.
Atul Kumar Singh, senior scientist of the Zonal Meteorological Center, said that the maximum temperature on Thursday was 26 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 10 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was two degrees below normal, due to which people felt colder at night.
He said that due to low visibility the district has been included in the Orange range. There is a possibility of reaching Aloe range after two days.
