Samvad Sutra, Sarojininagar (Lucknow). On Saturday, a dispute broke out between a passenger and a crew member in Air India flight number IX-2048 coming from Bengaluru to Lucknow. The plane reached Lucknow about half an hour behind schedule. As soon as it landed, the CISF deboarded the passenger Ankit Sahay along with his wife and three-year-old son from the plane and the police of Sarojini Nagar police station was informed.

The police let the couple go after questioning. Passenger Ankit alleges that he had taken a business class ticket, but was made to sit on the economy seat. Also, despite booking non-veg food in advance, veg food was served. When the crew member protested, he behaved rudely.

At the same time, the airline alleged in the complaint that the passenger threw the boarding pass at the crew member and created a ruckus in the plane, due to which the flight operations were affected. Police station in-charge Inspector Raj Dev Ram Prajapati said that during interrogation of the passenger, he complained about changing the seat and not being given proper food despite having a business class ticket. The case is being investigated.

Ankit Sahay has come to visit Lucknow with his wife and son. Ankit told that his brother-in-law is a doctor in King George Medical University (KGMU) and lives in Lucknow with his family. The couple had plans for a family meeting and tour, which has been affected due to the dispute.
