Jagran correspondent, Jammu. Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, Railways has decided to run special train number between New Delhi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi from 12th December to 14th December. This will provide relief to the passengers of Katra and Delhi routes.
Special train number 04081 will depart from New Delhi at 11:45 pm on 12th December and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 12 noon the next day. En route, this train will stop at Panipat, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu and Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur) station.
In return, special train number 04082 will depart from Katra Railway Station at 09:20 pm and reach New Delhi at 10 am the next day. Its stops will remain the same. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Jammu Railway Mandan, Utshi Singhal said that this reserved special train will operate with 20 coaches.
The chances of passengers getting confirmed tickets will increase during rush hour. Passengers can book tickets through Indian Railways website, app or through authorized agents. Railways has appealed to the passengers to confirm the train timing before starting the journey.
