Even after wearing warm clothes, people were feeling very cold. The cold has increased due to the westerly winds blowing in the afternoon.
The same situation may persist for the next three to four days. The maximum day temperature recorded on Wednesday was 23 degrees Celsius. There was a decrease in minimum temperature. It was recorded at 8.5 degrees Celsius. This is about 1.5 degrees less than normal. There was fog on Wednesday morning. Due to this people had to face a lot of trouble.
Visibility remained very low due to fog. Due to this, vehicles traveling on the road were facing a lot of trouble. To reduce the effect of fog, vehicles had their lights on. The effect of fog remained in the city and rural areas till around 9 o'clock.
In the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, it has been said that the effect of cold will remain for the next three to four days. Now the cold may gradually increase. There will still be fog in the morning. The sky will be clear.
The maximum temperature will reach 24 to 25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will reach 9 to 11 degrees. In the forecast period, westerly wind will blow at a speed of three to five km per hour. Purva wind will blow on 20th and 21st December.
