Severe cold continues to wreak havoc in UP, how will be the weather on Lohri, dense fog alert
Jagran Team, Lucknow. The color of the weather of UP will change again. There is a possibility of fog and severe cold once again in the morning at the end of the week. Tuesday i.e. today the maximum wind speed can reach 11 km per hour. The weather on Lohri and Makar Sankranti will be mild and bitterly cold. Snowy winds are expected at night.
There may be a partial change in the weather temperature of the city for the next two days. The day temperature remained better due to sunshine, visibility remained normal in some cities due to absence of fog on Monday morning. However, there was fog in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Rampur, Amroha, Moradabad, Pilibhit and visibility on the roads was zero. Even today there are chances of fog in these districts.
According to the forecast received from the Meteorological Department, there may be mist and fog in the morning and evening due to moisture in the coming days, but there is a possibility of mild cold during the day due to northwest winds along with strong sunshine in the afternoon.
Meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that in next two days the weather will be clear, there will be strong sunshine, there will be less fog in the evening. The melting cold will continue from evening till morning and the temperatures will fluctuate by 1 to 2 degrees. He said that due to the new western disturbance over Afghanistan, the temperature will increase from Tuesday and will fall again from Friday.
The maximum temperature on Monday was 20.7 degrees, while the minimum temperature was 7.4 degrees. Due to the pressure of North-West Disturbance, the average wind speed ranged from 2.2 kilometers per hour to a maximum of 6.2 kilometers per hour.
