A young man committed sacrilege by removing the silver crown and robe from the idol of Baba Bajrang Bali at the Hanuman temple located in Bhikhi in Bathinda district of Punjab. Temple Committee President Harbans Bansal said that the priests caught the youth on the spot and recovered the crown hidden by him. Due to love affair with his daughter, the father along with his brother strangled the student Ravi Prajapati and threw the body in the pond. Ravi was missing since February 1 and his body was found on February 5. The police have arrested the accused father and uncle and sent them to jail.
