A young man committed sacrilege by removing the silver crown and robe from the idol of Baba Bajrang Bali at the Hanuman temple located in Bhikhi in Bathinda district of Punjab. Temple Committee President Harbans Bansal said that the priests caught the youth on the spot and recovered the crown hidden by him. Bhikhi police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
In Sultanpur, a case of bullying by a Thar vehicle fitted with a hooter in the name of an MLA has come to light. On Sunday night, a social worker was stopped near Bharthipur Tiwari while returning from an invitation. A case of honor killing of a student has come to light in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. Due to love affair with his daughter, the father along with his brother strangled the student Ravi Prajapati and threw the body in the pond. Ravi was missing since February 1 and his body was found on February 5. The police have arrested the accused father and uncle and sent them to jail.

A tragic incident took place in Agwanpur village of Parikshitgarh, where 75-year-old Dhaniram died due to electrocution from Jugadu immersion rod. His wife Chandrawati had used a rod made from a heater element to heat the water. When Chandravati got electrocuted, Dhaniram tried to save her, due to which he himself got a severe shock and died on the spot. The police is investigating the matter
