National Pulses Self-Reliance Mission was launched in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, which was presided over by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. On this occasion, Rs 93.75 crore was provided to Bihar to promote pulses farming. Bihar aims to become self-reliant in pulses production in the next five years, for which the state has sought a special package and a national seed hub.

The government is expected to get revenue of ₹1000 crore from online auction of enemy properties in Uttar Pradesh. In the first phase, 1000 properties will be auctioned, out of which 400 to ₹200 crores have been received. A total of 6,500 enemy properties have been identified in UP. The occupier will get priority, but Raja Mahmudabad properties are not included in the auction due to a legal dispute.
