Consumers can register by February 5 and deposit the dues within 30 days. Failure to do so will reduce the profit by 5%. Chief Engineer Kapil Sindhwani has appealed to 1.28 lakh defaulters to take advantage of this scheme, because the least relaxation will be available in the third phase.

'We Were Provoking People In Pak-China Border Area', Center Justified Sonam Wangchuk's Detention In Supreme Court

The Center and Ladakh administration told the Supreme Court that environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk was detained on charges of inciting people in the border areas. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said his detention is justified under the National Security Act (NSA) and all procedural rules have been followed. Wangchuk's wife has called it illegal and a violation of fundamental rights.

To resolve the ongoing dispute between advocates and doctors in Dhanbad, police used a bulldozer on the wall of Sadar Hospital. This dispute started due to the parking problem of the advocates. The district administration has opened the way, but the advocates are still demanding written guarantee of permanent parking. The decision to stay away from judicial work still stands.

Theft In Broad Daylight In Jalandhar's Surya Enclave, Thieves Broke The Locks Of The House And Took Away Cash And Jewellery.

A house was stolen in broad daylight in Surya Enclave, Jalandhar. The thieves escaped from Jasbir Singh's house with gold ornaments, silver and Rs 70-75 thousand in cash. When Jasbir Singh returned from work, he came to know about the theft. Ramamandi police have registered the case and started investigation and are scanning CCTV footage to identify the thieves.

The TDS level of water has reached above 1500 due to industrial waste and shallow taps. Many deaths occur every year due to serious diseases like typhoid, hepatitis and cancer. The Health Department is investigating and efforts are being made to overcome the lack of pure drinking water and awareness.
