The investigation team reached Musaila Elderly village of Khukhundu on the complaint of irregularities in the voter list. The villagers had accused the BLO that the names of other villages were included in the list, while the names of eligible local people were missing. Two laborers died in a rockslide in an illegal stone quarry in Gopalpur village of Dhenkanal district of Odisha. This accident happened on Saturday evening when the workers were removing stones. The mine lease and explosives license had already expired. The administration has sealed the mine and assured strict action against the culprits. There is a possibility of more workers being buried under the debris, the rescue operation is going on.

Approval Given For Repair Of This Flyover Of Delhi, Expansion Joints Will Be Replaced For Rs 17 Crores

After a demand pending for last three years, Public Works Department PWD will repair the old flyover of Seelampur. Delhi government has sanctioned an amount of more than Rs 17 crore for this. In this repair work, expansion joints, honeycomb concrete and bearings will be replaced. Two-wheelers were in danger due to the bad expansion joints of this flyover built in 2006, which will now ensure safety.
