Team Arrived To Investigate Complaint Of Irregularities In Voter List, ADO Assured Villagers Of Action

The investigation team reached Musaila Elderly village of Khukhundu on the complaint of irregularities in the voter list. The villagers had accused the BLO that the names of other villages were included in the list, while the names of eligible local people were missing. After the news was published in Dainik Jagran, the team led by ADO Panchayat Dhirendra Sagar investigated and assured the villagers of action.

Bloody Game On Kite Flying In Yamunanagar, Neighbors Killed A Person With A Sharp Weapon

The dispute over kite flying in Bhambouli village of Yamunanagar took a bloody turn. After a minor altercation, Ram Kumar and his family attacked 35-year-old Rajesh Kumar with a sharp weapon, resulting in his death. The police have registered a case of murder against the accused couple, their son and daughter and have detained one accused. Earlier an attempt was made to call a Panchayat, but the dispute escalated.

Two Laborers Died Due To Rockslide In Illegal Stone Mine In Odisha, Fear Of Many Being Buried; Rescue Continues

Two laborers died in a rockslide in an illegal stone quarry in Gopalpur village of Dhenkanal district of Odisha. This accident happened on Saturday evening when the workers were removing stones. The mine lease and explosives license had already expired. The administration has sealed the mine and assured strict action against the culprits. There is a possibility of more workers being buried under the debris, the rescue operation is going on.

Approval Given For Repair Of This Flyover Of Delhi, Expansion Joints Will Be Replaced For Rs 17 Crores

After a demand pending for last three years, Public Works Department PWD will repair the old flyover of Seelampur. Delhi government has sanctioned an amount of more than Rs 17 crore for this. In this repair work, expansion joints, honeycomb concrete and bearings will be replaced. Two-wheelers were in danger due to the bad expansion joints of this flyover built in 2006, which will now ensure safety.

Illegal Occupation Of Government Land Measured In Sant Kabir Nagar, Bulldozer Will Run If Road Is Not Vacated

The administration has taken strict action on the complaint of illegal occupation of government land in Mahuli of Sant Kabirnagar. On the instructions of Sub-Collector Dhanghata, the police and revenue department team measured and found illegal occupation. The occupants have been instructed to vacate the land immediately, otherwise bulldozers have been warned to run. This action has been taken on the complaint of the villagers.

There Is A Ban On Charging Power Banks In Flights In India, DGCA Issued Guidelines

Charging of portable electronic devices and power banks during air travel has been banned in India. DGCA has issued these guidelines after incidents of fire in lithium batteries. Now power banks will be allowed to be kept only in handbags and not in the overhead bin. Passengers must immediately inform cabin crew if heat or smoke is emitted from any equipment.

Disillusioned With Christianity In Two Years, 6 Member Family Returned To Sarna Religion

The six-member family of Vishwanath Sinku, who converted to Christianity two years ago in Jagannathpur in West Singhbhum, returned to their original Sarna religion on Friday. According to tribal traditions, Diuri returned after offering prayers. The family took this decision after feeling distanced from social support. The villagers welcomed him and called it an important step towards cultural values.
