AIPEF Announces Nationwide Electricity Strike On February 12 In Protest Against Electricity Amendment Bill-2025

All India Power Engineers Federation has announced a nationwide electricity strike on 12 February. This strike is in protest against the privatization of the power sector and the proposed Electricity Amendment Bill 2025. The federation claims that if the government does not change its stance, power supply across the country may be affected. Chairman Shailendra Dubey has demanded withdrawal of the bill and restoration of the old pension scheme.

School Closed: There Will Be Holidays In Schools, DM Of Six Districts Took Leave In View Of Rain And Snowfall

Due to changing weather in Uttarakhand, rain and snowfall has started, due to which the cold has increased. Due to orange alert of heavy rain and snowfall, DM of six districts has declared holiday in all schools and Anganwadi centers from classes 1 to 12 on Wednesday. The National Disaster Alert Portal has expressed the possibility of lightning and heavy rainfall, due to which this precautionary step has been taken.

Samriddhi Yatra Will Reach Samastipur On January 29, CM Nitish Will Gift 188 Schemes Worth Rs 827 Crore.

These include the foundation stone of 71 schemes, inauguration of 74 and commencement of work of 43. The Chief Minister will visit Narghoghi Engineering College, inspect the Budhi Gandak Bridge and review the 'Saat Nishchay' schemes. He will also address a public meeting.

Hapur Accident: Wife Dies, Husband Injured In Collision With Uncontrolled Vehicle In Hapur
