Moradabad court has acquitted 36 people including SP MLA Samarpal Singh in the 2011 Jat reservation rail roko agitation case. This movement took place at Kafurpur railway station in Amroha, in which thousands of protesters blocked the railway track for 15 days. A case was registered on the instructions of the High Court, the hearing of which was going on in the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.

Efforts To Clean Yamuna Intensified, 12 STPs Upgraded In 9 Months; Capacity Increased To 100 MGD

Sewage treatment plants (STPs) are being upgraded to clean Yamuna river in Delhi. In the last nine months, 12 STPs have been completed, adding capacity by 100 million gallons per day (MGD). Total capacity has increased from 707 MGD to 814 MGD. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa held a review meeting in which it was informed that the remaining upgrades will be completed by 2027 and 13 new DSTPs will be built by 2024.

Dead Tiger Found On The River Bank In Manpur Of Valmiki Tiger Reserve, Investigation Into Actual Cause Of Death Begins

A dead tiger was found on the banks of Dohram river in Manpur forest area of ​​Valmiki Tiger Reserve. The cause of death of this two and a half to three year old tiger is believed to be due to conflict between wildlife, although the actual reason is not yet clear.
